When it comes to BB, CC, or DD creams I haven’t had much luck finding one that works for me and it didn’t stop with this one.
The Studio Gear Hydrating CC Cream is one that adapts to the color of your skin to create a natural looking coverage. It comes in three “color options” in which you would pick the one closest to your skin color. I have fairly light skin so I chose the color Linen. When applied to my face the color match blended pretty well. I did feel like it was a teeny bit dark for my skin but it was workable. I would also have to say that it has light coverage.
This CC cream is lightweight, oil free, and very hydrating (up to 72 hours). When looking for a CC cream, light weight and oil free are awesome properties. Depending on what your skin type is depends on whether the hydrating property will work well for you. This is where the product failed for me. I have combination/oily skin depending on the season and the hydrating property of this CC cream made my face become oily fairly fast.
Some other benefits of the Studio Gear Hydrating CC Cream:SPF 20 Prevents fine lines and wrinkles Restores skin elasticity Brightens and illuminates skin
My overall opinion is that this product didn’t work for me. I have a very imperfect skin tone due to acne scaring and the light coverage that it gives isn’t what I typically go for. The hydrating property of this CC cream was too much for my skin and so for that fact alone I won’t continue to use this product. With that being said, just because it didn’t work for me doesn’t mean that it won’t work for you! If you tend to have skin that is more on the dry side then this may be a perfect product for you to try out!
