Non-Motivating Blog Posts

Hi lovelies!

After a much needed and unexpected break, I’m here to write about a topic that has been popping up in my inbox lately from other bloggers.  It all started around Christmas time and has even continued through today.  I’ve received posts in my inbox in which many bloggers have either said they were going to quit blogging or contemplating on quitting.  Don’t take this the wrong way, but I have enjoy reading those blog posts.  It has really made me think about my personal situation and my blog.  Although reading all of those posts seemed to be non-motivating at first, I have decided to use them in a different way to motivate me.

I have definitely had my moments of ‘is this really what I want to do’ and ‘is it really worth my time’.  I am pretty sure that all of us at one point or another has experienced this.  If you haven’t, I am jealous.  Overall, I know that my blog is not what I truly want it to be at this point in time and I know that with my current situation of working a full-time job and a part-time job makes it really hard to keep up with my blog.  With changes coming up in my personal life there will SLOWLY be changes reflecting on and in my blog.  Some are bigger changes and other are more or less changes for myself.

I just want to say thank you to all of those other bloggers for sharing your hardships with your readers.  They have really motivated me to focus on what I truly want with my life and my blog.  It will take time, but I am ready to “jump head first” into the blogging community and really be a part of it.  I’m excited to grow and work with other bloggers and I’m excited to create content people will want to read. (Hopefully! I tend to suck at writing!)

I hope you decide to stick around and bare with me through my transition!  Have a wonderful weekend!

♥ Samantha

  • I was a little, all or nothing at all when I started. My blog is 6 months old and after nearly three weeks off at Christmas, I think I was getting blogger burn out. Now, I’m blogging and reading other blogs at my own pace. I am trying to chill!

I feel the same way! I am trying to enjoy it and not feel like I HAVE to do something. I of course have commitments that I will keep up with but I am slowly going to get back up to a comfortable speed!
