Picture 1

This review is a little over due but I want to still let you know about this subscription service. New Beauty TestTube is a beauty subscription service that is sent out every other month in a tube.  It contains both deluxe and full-size products for you to test out along with a booklet that tells you about each product.  It also includes a subscription to the New Beauty magazine.  It costs $29.95 a tube plus $8.95 for shipping and only ships within the US.

The TestTube that I received is the May 2015 TestTube (Yes, I am like 3 months late..life got away with me!) and from first glance at the products inside I am very excited about it!  In this TestTube I received 7 products total – 1 full-size & 6 travel size.  Out of the 7 products I have only heard of 3 of them and I have yet to try them so all of these products are new to me.

It’s a 10 | Silk Express Miracle Silk Leave-In: 2 fl oz travel size, Value: $14.96

I have used the It’s a 10 Miracle Leave-In Product & the Miracle Leave-In Product plus Keratin and I love them both.  I have yet to try the silk express version but I am sure I will love it!  I am very happy that it came with a travel size version of this product!  It will be perfect for traveling!

*Go here to receive a free travel size of the regular Miracle Leave-In Product.  All you have to do is pay $5.95 for shipping and handling.*

Patchology | Hydrate FlashMasque Facial Sheets: One Masque, Value: $6.25

This mask is supposed to “deliver a super-charged boost of hydration in just 5 minutes”.  They are ideal for dry skin or anytime skin is fatigued and dehydrated.  I am very interested in trying out this mask as I have never tried one before, but I do not have dry skin.

Tan Towel Combo Pack: One Classic Tan Towel, One Plus Tan Towel, One Face Tan Towelette, and One x-foliator towelette, Value: $9.80

I have heard of the Tan Towel brand before but have yet to use one of their products.  I’m trying to get into using self tanners so this will be the perfect way to start!  The towelettes are pre-moistened with the tanning solution and is supposed to provide a quick and even application with no streaks or mess.

Dr. Brandt | needles no more: .085 oz, Value: $15.13

This product is very intriguing to me!  I am 25 years old and I already have some major forehead expression lines that drive me crazy.  Needles no more is an instant wrinkle relaxing cream and is supposed to smooth out expression lines.  I’ve looked up reviews on this product and it seem like people absolutely love it or it doesn’t work for them at all so it will be interesting to try!

Hada Labo Tokyo | Replenishing Hydrator: Full-size 1.7 fl oz, Value: $17.99

This is a clear lightweight gel moisturizer that leaves your skin feeling incredibly soft and moisturized.  It contains Super Hyaluronic Acid which is a combination of 3 types of Hyaluronic Acid to add moisture back to the skin.  It even says that you can add it over your make-up for all-day dewy skin!  I haven’t tried that yet but I am definitely going to!

glo therapeutics | Gentle Cream Cleanser: 2 fl oz, Value: $11.04

I have yet to try this product, but it is a lightweight cream cleanser that is gentle on your skin and is suppose to calm inflammation and help maintain moisture balance.  Since it is a travel size I will be saving this for when I travel!

Contours Rx | Lids by Design, Medical grade instant eyelift tape: Sample size of 3mm & 4mm strips, Value: $17.50

My initial reaction to this product was “What in the hell?!”  These instant eyelift strips are an interesting concept.  They are medical grade, hypoallergenic, latex free strips that you apply to your eye before putting on makeup to reshape your eyelids by lifting and correcting.  I don’t really think I need them right now in my life, but I am still going to do a little more research on the best way to apply them so that I can actually try them out.

Overall I really like this subscription service!  The value of the products I received totaled to $92.67 which is a great deal considering you would pay $29.95 for it plus shipping.  This subscription is a little more pricey overall compared to other beauty subscription services but I feel like this one offers very different brands and products as well.  Definitely check this out if it is something that you are interested in!  You can click here to get your first tube for 30% off!

Let me know if you’ve had this subscription before and what you thought of it!
