During the winter months everything becomes dry…..the air, our skin, and our hair. My hair suffers SO much during winter months. It is constantly dry, static-y, and tends to break closer to the scalp. I hate it when my hair gets like this so I am always looking for awesome products to re-hydrate and strengthen my hair. This is where Hask products come in. Hask is a collection of hair care products featuring exotic oils from around the world. I was introduced to Hask when I received their Macadamia Oil hair mask in various beauty subscriptions and I absolutely loved it. Their products are free of sulfates, parabens, phthalates, artificial colors, drying alcohol, and gluten.
This is their Keratin Smoothing Hair Care Collection: Keratin Protein Shampoo, Conditioner, Deep Conditioner & Shine Hair Oil. Keratin Protein is ultra restorative and leaves hair smooth, shiny, and frizz-free. It repairs damage, reduces breakage, and helps reduce static. I love love love the way that these products make my hair feel and look. I have noticed that my hair is becoming stronger again, less frizzy, and sometimes less static-y. The scent of this Keratin line is to die for. It’s hard to explain but it is a fruity floral scent that leaves your hair smelling amazing!
- Shampoo & Conditioner: Since it is possible to over proteinize your hair, a friend of mine suggested that I only use this shampoo and conditioner every other wash max so that is what I do.
- Deep Condition Hair Mask: It is recommended that you do a mask once a week. I can usually get a a few uses out of these packets and I have a lot of hair so they last awhile! They are also a thick mask that really conditions your hair.
- Smoothing Shine Oil: It basically is exactly what it says. It is a weightless, strengthening oil that makes your hair smooth and shiny! A little of this oil goes a long way! I use it on my hair a couple times a week when it is damp. I will then blow dry it to style.
If you have yet to try out Hask products you NEED to get your hands on them. I already have my eye on some of their other collections to try out.
Have you tried out any Hask products? If so, which ones? What do you think of them?
