Beauty Haul! Ulta, Birchbox, & QVC!

If you didn’t know this already, September 8th was my birthday.  Every year I like to treat myself to just a little bit of shopping around the time of my birthday.  This year I figured I would share it with you!  I went to Ulta because I had a 20% off coupon, the birchbox store because I had a ton of points saved up, and QVC because they have a killer deal!

Let’s start with Ulta.  All of these products are new to me but I have heard great things about all of them.  First I picked up four NYX pigments in LP01 Nude, LP19 Mink, LP20 in Mocha, and LP22.  Next I went for the HD Concealer and my shade is CW03 Light.  Lastly, I picked up the NYX Lip Primer in LPR01 Nude.  I am very curious to see how well the lip primer works.  I tend to have very dry flaky lips so I have high hopes for this product.  The Seche Vite top coat was a no brainer for me.  I feel like everyone loves that top coat so I picked it up to give it a try.  The L’oreal Blow Dry It Quick Dry Primer Spray is one of the main reasons I went to Ulta in the first place.  I kept seeing ads for it in magazines and if there is ANY WAY to save me drying time with my long hair I am going to try it.  Lastly, I picked up the E.L.F. HD Undereye Setting Powder.  I currently don’t use an undereye setting powder at all and have heard some killer reviews so I grabbed it up. Not to mention..SUPER affordable!

Next stop was QVC!  Now, yes, I could have purchased my IT Cosmetics products at Ulta but I always like to look for deals first.  I was actually on the It Cosmetics website and realized that they also sell on QVC.  I went over to their site and found out that they had a killer deal going on.  The CC+ Cream and the CC+ Eye Concealer were bundled together. I am in the shade Light FYI.  I basically paid for the CC+ Cream and received the CC+ Eye Concealer for free!  What a great deal! QVC always has awesome deals on beauty products!  The brush though was normal price. Boo.  I bought the IT Cosmetics Heavenly Luxe Flat Top Buffing Foundation Brush.

Now for the best part!  I have a subscription to Birchbox and I am sure all of you know that if you do reviews on the products you get in your box, you earn points!  I have been saving up my points for awhile now and finally redeemed them for the four products above: Amika Sea Buckthorn Berry Nourishing Mask, Bumble and Bumble Pret-a-Powder, Anastasia Beverly Hills Light to Medium Contour Kit, and the Smashbox Full Exposure Eyeshadow Palette that included a deluxe sample of the Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara.  Since I used my points for this purchase I didn’t have to pay a single penny!  What a steal! The Amika hair mask is amazinnggg!  I had a sample of it that I received in a past Birchbox so I knew I wanted to get that.  The other 3 items were ones that I have been eyeing and have been thinking about getting for awhile.  I figured since I didn’t have to pay anything for them I would go ahead and bite the bullet!

I can’t wait to dive in to all of these products and start using them!

Have you tried any of these products?  Let me know what you think of them if you have!  I would love to know!

xoxo, Sammi
